SWF Impact: Ukrainian Relief & Aid

"Whether they are American or not, they are fighting for their freedom, their liberty and their pursuit of happiness and our organization supports that." Bryan Abell, Co-Executive Director of SWF.

On March 9th, SWF teamed up with Sunflower Sunrise Co., a Ukrainian-American owned apparel company, along with the HUB Stadium to host a donation drive and fundraising event in aid of Ukrainian refugees and those fighting on the front lines.

By raising $15,786.00 in support of those impacted by the Russian-Ukraine conflict, SWF and the community were able to directly donate first-aid equipment and other supplies to those in Ukraine. Some of these high priority items were the following: C-A-T Tourniquets, Israeli Bandages, Vented Chest Seals, Medical Wrap and surgical gloves. With the local communities help, we were also able to send countless other items ranging from tactical equipment to humanitarian clothing.

Katelyn Abell, Co-Executive Director of SWF, put into words what many of us are feeling in regards to the injustices that Ukrainians are facing "It’s devastating to see what’s happening in Ukraine right now, so when the Stronger Warrior Foundation realized we could help by sending supplies over we jumped at the opportunity. Our hearts go out to all the warriors in Ukraine.
