Jim Abell currently resides in Milford Michigan, attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a major in Management Information Systems. In addition, he received an MBA from the University of Detroit with a major in Business Management and Finance.

In 2017, Jim retired from Ford Motor Company after a 34-year career as an Information Technology executive. In 2018, he started his own IT consulting business. Jim is currently consulting and advising at General Motors Financial in Detroit Michigan.

In 2019, Jim’s children Bryan and Katelyn founded the Stronger Warrior Foundation so naturally he became very involved in this non-profit organization. In January 2020 he was elected to the Board of Directors, as the Treasurer.

Jim enjoys spending time up-north on Cedar Lake in Greenbush, Michigan with the family and golfing as often as he can during the spring, summer and Fall months.
