Why Host a Mission Resupply Event?
When you host a Mission Resupply event you gain the unique opportunity to physically become apart of our mission and our impact. Organizing an event allows you and your fellow participants to experience the whole Mission Resupply journey which helps us add great sentimental value to each care package we send overseas to our Warriors. Along with this affect, it’s an opportunity to bring our community together in a shared appreciation for our deployed Warriors.
How an Event Works
The process for hosting a Mission resupply event is very easy, and we’re there to assist you every step of the way. When you host an event you will get the chance to decorate/personalize a crate, take instant pictures for your crate, and upload a video message that the care package recipient will be able to watch. Members of the SWF team attend every event in order to provide needed materials to help you personalize your crate and offer support for your event. Once the event is over, our team ships your care packages to our deployed Warriors. Below, you can read an in-depth explanation of the event process.
How to Setup an Event
Create Your Event
In order to make sure our organization has enough built crates and availability for your event, it must be registered. The main info needed is event location, event date, event time, and fundraising goal. Each $45 raised equals one crate for the event. (Example: $900 raised = 20 crates for the event). After Registering your event our team will quickly get back to you to confirm your event.
Create an Event Page
Immediately after you have registered your event you will receive an email from us that will allow you to make a fundraising page for your event. As explained above, the amount of crates sponsored at your event will depend on the amount of funds raised.
Host the Event
On the day of the event our team will make sure all the crates are delivered to the location of the event along with all the tools needed to personalize the crates. Make sure the location is suitable for the event and crate decorating such as painting.
